Questions

Frequently asked questions

Here are some of the most common questions I get asked about personal training and how to know if it’s the right fit for you.
Is it safe to exercise during pregnancy?
Yes, when done correctly. As a certified Level 3 Pre & Postnatal Exercise & Nutrition personal trainer, I design sessions that are safe, adapted to your stage of pregnancy, and focused on helping you stay strong, energised, and comfortable.
How soon after giving birth can I start training again?
It depends on your birth and recovery. Many women can begin gentle movement from around 6 weeks postpartum (or 8–12 weeks after a C-section), but I’ll always encourage you to get clearance from your GP or midwife before starting.
Do I need to be fit already to do this?
Not at all. Whether you’re completely new to exercise or have been active for years, I’ll create a programme that’s right for your body, your fitness level, and your stage of pregnancy or recovery.
Can I bring my baby to sessions?
Yes, if we’re training in your home, your baby is more than welcome. Many mums find it easier to train when baby is close by.
What kind of exercises will we do?
Sessions focus on safe, functional movements that support your body during and after pregnancy. This may include core and pelvic floor work, strength training, mobility exercises, and posture-focused movements. Everything is tailored to your needs.
